 Stu Bear's real name is Stewardship Bear. Since stewardship means caring for something, Rev. Sigler gave Stu Bear to the church so that the children could take turns caring for him. Each week a child will take Stu home. They will be responsible for caring for him and bringing him back the next Sunday. The Presbyterian Church (USA) has a packet of Stu Bear materials that can be purchased through Cokesbury. |
