The Old Location


Scene of the Cemetery

The first site of Lost Creek Church is located about 1 mile south of McAlisterville on Musser Drive. The building is no longer there, but the cemetery is still in use and operates under its own corporation known as The Lost Creek Presbyterian Cemetery, Inc. 

When driving north from Mifflintown on Hwy 35, turn right at the Bread of Life Restaurant onto Musser Drive. The cemetery is straight ahead.

A log church was constructed on this site in 1800 and was used until 1838 when this brick building was built. The brick church was used until 1887 when it was taken down and its materials used to build the current sanctuary in McAlisterville.
